On Friday, Facebook made Messenger even more secure with the introduction of end-to-end encryption for voice and video calls. As noted in a blog post, Facebook has offered end-to-end encryption for text chats since 2016. You can now secure your audio and video calls using the same technology. But as with encryption for text conversations, this feature is entirely optional.
